Dinner parties

Everyone has different ideas about dinner parties. I offer a bespoke menu creation service to enure that your evening is exactly how you want it to be, and can even arrange for wines to be sourced to accompany each course. I can either prepare these meals in your own home, serve it to you and your guests and clear away before leaving you to enjoy the rest of the evening, or I can deliver everything with instructions for you to finish off and have the glory. Canapés and aperitifs

Starters

Individual shallot tarte tatin, with melted goats cheese and a walnut-dressed side salad (v)

Marsala and garlic (wild in season!) twice-cooked portabello mushrooms on toasted brioche (v)

Brixham dive-caught scallops, simply pan fried in garlic and chilli oil, served with chorizo and crusty bread

Smoked duck with mango salsa, rice noodles and sesame-dressed leaves

Main course

Served with vegetables of your choice

Local fillet steak with a bitter chocolate, garlic, port and thyme reduction

Roasted apricot-stuffed pork tenderloin, wrapped in parma ham and served with a spicy chutney

Fillet of line-caught sea bass with a garlic, ginger, lemongrass and spring onion wholegrain risotto

Peppered venison steak with roasted chesnuts and a juniper and red wine sauce

Lemon and thyme-roasted poussin with tapenade and a slow-roasted red pepper sauce

Rack of Devon lamb, served with a port, redcurrant and rosemary jus

Vanilla pannacotta with a passionfruit and mango coulis and tuile biscuit

Creme brulée with a lemon and blackberry compote and lavender shortbread

Rich, dark chocolate mousse with spun sugar, fresh raspberries and mint
